This study assessed stroke care services across 16 countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Although thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy were available in 15 and 13 countries, respectively, their utilization remained limited. The study highlighted major gaps in specialized stroke units, rehabilitation services, stroke registries, and professional training, emphasizing the need to strengthen stroke care infrastructure and improve access to timely treatment.
